This is all so incredibly spot on. 9.3M account here, spend ~$100 a month and feeling very squeezed. Haven’t been able to justify spending since the Levi / P1 debacle locked me out of fleet crystals after reliably landing in the top 5 daily for well over a year.
Would LOVE to get hyped about the new update, and would love to trust that’s it’s as good or better than status quo (but trust is hard to come by right now), and would even love to entertain some episode pass purchasing… but I just don’t know right now. Am I throwing money at a game that’s going to push me to stop playing in a couple months? Feels more prudent to not spend for now, wait, and see. I imagine many others feel the same, and I can’t imagine that’s how CG wants the player base they’re monetizing feeling.
