Starting to see some of this emerge again with the latest TIE ship pack. Seriously we are looking at $1000 to 7 star a ship that still requires a p2p pilot! One can only hope that deathtrooper packs don't repeat the price gouge that was baze initial release to chromium.
General consensus so far in TI is that this is completely not worth it and even the big spenders are giving this a pass. If the citadel pack pricing is anything like this one, I really believe we are taking steps backwards.
Consider the target demographic, whales. Most of them have a maxed or near maxed DV ship which means reaper shards are the real reason for purchase. Seriously. 3000 crystals for 4 shards. This probably the worst value we've ever seen coming out of a pack. Baze was admittedly a mistake which was rectified through the shard shop process.
Are we seriously going down the same path again?
