General consensus so far in TI is that this is completely not worth it and even the big spenders are giving this a pass. If the citadel pack pricing is anything like this one, I really believe we are taking steps backwards.
Consider the target demographic, whales. Most of them have a maxed or near maxed DV ship which means reaper shards are the real reason for purchase. Seriously. 3000 crystals for 4 shards. This probably the worst value we've ever seen coming out of a pack. Baze was admittedly a mistake which was rectified through the shard shop process.

I threw about 150 into it and do have serious buyers remorse. I really should do the math on this crap before I spend instead of a few hundred in. I suspect citadels will be another 4-25 offering which again would price the chars well over 1k for all but a few lucky people. Funny thing though, I spent more on gear for krenick than I did on the ships even though I rather suspect I will end up taking a pass on krenick as well when the citadel pack comes. Since shoretrooper swgoh has been asking way too much for new chars to the point where I can't even get excited about the new offerings any more. I was and still occasionally am a heavy spender but recently that spending has gotten me nothing and each time that happens the chance that I will spend again goes down substantially.
