Nothing is a waste of time if you like a character and want their toon.

Quit thinking you've got to be number one all the time. All you need is to have a good time.

Where is the g12, g12+ and mods?

If you like the toon, you feel free to max them out. This is ultimately a collecting game and sometimes those rare toons get improvements making them great again though in GG's case, great for the 1st time.
