I got 19 Appo shards, so I’m happy they released it.

I get your pointCPgame01 , but guild mates who have taken Appo to r7 or higher are reporting t3 is not possible with just him. So people will need at least one more of the DS clones at 7* (and probably relic level) to even complete t3. I think they could have moved the needle a little on what having additional DS clones available would let you achieve.

Tier 3 is possible but it's all luck with who Kelleran and Jocasta decide to one shot. Tier 4 I'd say might not be possible with what I've experienced without the luckiest luck of the lucks.

But it's pretty much trash rewards on T3 anyway.
