Struggling since recent changes
I've been playing since 2020, every day, multiple times a day like many other players. Yet since the recent changes, struggling to be motivated to play or engage beyond the minimum required. A trend I'm seeing across my guild, again I'm sure many other players can share similar experiences. Frankly the fun has gone.
I see little value in repeating everyone else's feedback regarding relic delta and ERA changes, so let's just say I agree with (mostly) everything said. Ultimately any changes will depend on if people are willing to keep spending (their choice) or if too many people leave the game.
I wanted to overview the impact it has on other game modes and player progression..
The idea of being able to work on new characters and old, I don't think will translate to reality. Once the new characters hit surely I'll just have 6 new characters to be working on? It also doesn't look like we will similar events to what we've had with qui/obi, imperial remnants and pirates where were picking up 7-15 shards a time reducing the farming needed. So we will be behind. Kyro being eased is welcome though to give some credit.
Relic materials moving to mark 2 currency would be great if the R12 pieces went to mark 1. Otherwise I'm stretching the most valuable currency that allows me to progress.
Game modes wise, GAC: Terrible match ups, Datacrons sucked the value in trying here, let alone adding Relic delta into the mix.
TW: Absolutely awful matchups, now with relic delta it's near enough pointless trying.
TB: is my favourite game mode, brings guild together and allows for actual strategy in the game. Missions to be simmed would be a nice Qol change.
Conquest: Brace yourself! Relic delta + a whole load of new character related feats is going to be rough.
Episode pass: Needs some added value since changes. Struggling to see the need to keep buying other than currency which I think has lost some value.
