Just read @LastJedi message that clearly state his droids can't compete with top teams...
Have you heard of Anakin? Rex? Biggs? B2? Jawas? Counter team? Han Solo? Daka with ventress lead, ok should I continue the list...?
All of them can counter droids.. And droids are the fastest toon around...
So why did people move along from droids to rebels... Simply because damage of Crits are the issue, not speed
