You need to send those droids to a check-up because they have an oil spill somewhere. The droid team i've fought seems to completely opposite of what you're trying to sell to me. Maybe it's just my imagination that droids are OP...Nope!
It's totally your imagination... Even droids with the best mods around loose easily to a good number of teams..
I agree with last Jedi , droid where amazing before the armor boost and mods... Now they were "nerfed " by the evolution that happened in game.
Not saying that's a bad thing, but it proves clearly that speed in itself is not what make teams OP. Otherwise droids would still be ruling servers...
