The introduction of mods to SWGOH has brought with it a new era of theory-crafting and character customization. Unfortunately, as mod collections have grown, the tools within the game to manage those mods have not kept pace. Currently, optimizing the mods for a character or squad can be a very tedious task. I've even heard of people resorting to maintaining spreadsheets for this purpose, which is quite the undertaking and not something most people would be willing to do.
I'm excited to share that there is now a solution to the mod management problem. Introducing the swgoh.gg mod management page!!!
Before I get into the details of this brand new feature of swgoh.gg, I want to share an excellent video, created by Warrior_TI, which highlights not only mod management but all the other amazing tools and resources at your disposal courtesy of swgoh.gg.

With that, here's an outline of what the new mods page offers:
- Quickly get a count of all your mods (or filtered subsets)
- See all your mods in one place (both assigned and unassigned)
- See which character each mod is assigned to (via a portrait in the lower-right corner of the mod which links to that character's detail page)
- Filters button to filter down by slot, set, primary stat, and secondary stat (with the ability to select multiple of each)
- Automatic sorting by the first filtered secondary stat (from highest to lowest)
- Automatic highlighting of the sorted secondary values
- Drop down menu under each filtered secondary with options to sort by it in either direction, configure a value range filter (minimum, maximum, or both), or remove that filter
- Share button which copies the current page's url to your clipboard, including all filter and sort options
A couple important notes:
First, if you haven't already done so, I encourage you to create a profile on swgoh.gg. This allows your SWGOH collection to be synced with the site and is necessary to take advantage of the new mod management feature. You'll need your player ID to do this (not your ally code), which is located at the bottom of the in-game settings. Once you have a profile and your collection is synced (which happens automatically every day after your arena payout, but can also be done manually once every 30 minutes), you'll be able to go to the Mods tab of your profile and view all your mods in one place.
Second, CG only exposes assigned mods via their public APIs, as that's how you're able to see mods assigned to other player's characters in-game. As a result, we are only able to access assigned mods when syncing your collection. The good news is, we are now able to remember mods that have been previously assigned, so you can still get all your mods to show up by temporarily assigning them to characters, doing a manual sync (or waiting for the next automatic one), then unassigning them. If you later sell such mods, you'll have to remove them manually from the site, which you can do by clicking the red slashed circle in the lower-right corner of unassigned mods (only works for your own mods). This is all explained via a message at the top of the mods page (which you can permanently dismiss by clicking the "X" in its upper-right corner).
If you want any more information, I encourage you to check out the video I linked above, though feel free to ask questions on this thread. Feedback is also most welcome.
Thanks and enjoy.
