More than likely GL Thrawn. All the new characters and the new faction will play into it.

I still think Maul should be Ahsoka's GL counter
If you've noticed with all the GLs (dark side and light side), they've met each other:
-Rey and Kylo Ren meet several times throughout the Sequel Trilogy
-Luke and Palpatine met on the Second Death Star
-Obi-Wan and Anakin were really close during the Clone Wars
-Leia and Jabba met on Tatooine when rescuing Han Solo
It’ll probably tie in with season 2 of Ashoka.
Either Thrawn in Ahsoka or some bad imperial guy in the Mandalorian 4 and the upcoming starwars movie. And when will Darth Plagueis enter the game?
I think 3 from that list are possibilities: Thrawn, Revan, and Din (depending on what he does in the movie?).
SWGOH won’t feel any pressure to release another GL for a year but this may be too soon for Thrawn or Din to get enough screen time for character development. Maybe they throw Revan into the sandwich while things percolate. Other possibilities while we wait…Darth Krayt (we have Talon already of course), maybe Vitiate?
I actually think it will be Thrawn and then new material will make his kit look out dated-

I think it’ll be Thrawn. GLs come out in pairs (kind of) with dark side and light side together. So it’ll be a dark side character…
Thrawn is the most relevant dark side character in the Star Wars series right now and there’s only one of him in the game…
IMO, we should have had a Darth Vader GL… probably too late now with LV
But thrawn didn’t change much in appearance(only fatter) and he didn’t do anything special in Ahsoka. I think there will be a new powerful night sister character in season 2 so maybe that one will serve as the counter for GL Ahsoka
