How is it possible that a player with 5 galactic legends and with a PG of 8.5 M is fighting in aurodium 2 where all of us are within the range of 5 to 6 M???? Zetas all across the board, a d endless number of reliced charaters... is this to provide a free ride to some of us, and role of cannon fodder to others?

It means the player is slacking. The new GAC ability levels are way more fair now than they used to be. Now you get opponents with the same skill level which means if people with a big GP and lots of GL don't fight and loose all the time, they get placed in lower divisions.
Skill points are a reflection of your skils now while the former GAC system was solely based upon GP.
If he is an inactive player (or atleast was less active) then his ranking would drop and he’d be put into lower tiers, however his defensive squads would still remain set from when he was more active. Hope that helped
