Those are both all debuffs.

Taunt is a buff
Death mark and Marked are both debuffs
There is a difference and therefore might be classified as 2 different things

SLKR can't gain taunt effects. Rey can

Did SLKR had his anti-taunt zeta? JKR can use Direct Focus on him but cannot apply the Marked debuff

Malak can gain taunt while he is Confused. Everything is possible.

Taunt is a specific buff. It's green.

Marked and Deathmarked are specific debuffs. They're red.

They're different effects with different mechanics. Taunt is something you do to yourself, marks are something done to you.

A bit like “stun effects” fear is a form of stun, can’t do nothing that turn.

If it said can’t gain taunt then fair enough but it doesn’t say that.

GL Kylo is immune to every taunt effect even marked and deathmark.

The stun effects are all debuffs.

tanut effects are likely all buffs or debuffs not a mix of buffs and debuffs. There is probably a different name for the effects grouping the debuffs and the buffs.
