Platoon strategy - draft.
Check platoon benefits - see which open platoons apply to current territories. (If open platoons apply to current, consider delay combat until at least some of the platoons filled. )

Check platoons for difficult characters in ALL available platoons. (Difficult characters can be hard to get ones , or easy to get but useless ones that few people have , or ones with high combat value which people might prefer to use in missions .) Don't bother to fill platoons requiring characters nobody has. Favor filling platoons which do not require difficult characters (but only if there is prospect for filling a pair). For platoons that require difficult characters, coordinate which platoons to try.

(A guild census showing who has what characters at what star level and gear level might be helpful. Eventually somebody will probably come up with a tool to do this. This should have been built in to the game .)
