Some people with less than 70% collection score finished in top 20 of our raid... So it's not so much about collection score, it's about having the right toons maxed and use them well
100% agree. It isn't about having a HUGE collection, it is about having the right collection. I have a 55% score on swgoh.gg, but I basically didn't gear up anyone the last 4 to 6 weeks before the raid, I just stockpiled gear and credits. So when it dropped I was able to load up all the right characters. The result is I got 12th or 13th on the world first team leaderboard, and then 8th on our second run - and that is with having to auto attack p4 because I was taking care of family stuff. I basically have 1 well tuned team per phase, and then junk I can throw in there for zerging when it is cleanup time.
This raid is very doable by non-whales once they have the tactics down. I do not think a full FTP account can pull their own on a heroic raid, but non-whales certainly can.
Strange how so many of you guys did both the world first run and then went to help the sister guild on a second run.
How exactly is that strange? They made their intentions clear that they wanted all of their guilds to get on the leaderboard. Obviously that requires consolidation of your best available guild members.
