He does not. They fixed his special (although there is some argument that even that fix is incorrect) but in the process they broke the leadership ability. Instead of possibly providing stealth each turn it was not processing on turns where the stealth wore off. So while this removed the occasions where the leadership ability would cancel out the special ability it introduced a serious nerf to his leadership ability.
There are also apparently other issues related to the leadership ability removing taunt effects. So there are two undocumented issues that I'm sure Conduit is already well into developing a fix.
