Some terms I've seen here I really just don't understand. "In my shard" I see used a lot with regards to the Arena. Zeta Meta Druid Also, if there is some standard character abbreviation usage?...

It stands for Random Number Generator. However, like "meta", it has taken on a meaning other than what the acronym stands for. In most situations (especially video games), "RNG" is used to cover any situation where something is randomly decided (or pseudo-randomly if electronic). For example, if Darth Maul has a 20% chance to evade, you might see something like "I hate RNG because Darth Maul dodged multiple times in a row", "Darth Maul dodged multiple times in a row; that's some bad RNG", or even "I should equip this accuracy arrow to help my RNG against all those Darth Maul dodges". A common synonym would be "luck" or "chance".
