Just make it assume that 50/50 people are participating even if they are not signed up, so it uses the entire GP of the guild, And this gp includes anyone who recently left the guild too. It should have never worked like the way it does now. You wouldn't get posts after posts after posts about TW matchmaking if the system was actually good instead of the incredibly terrible design it has now.
Guilds should be matched against guilds that give good fights. It should never be a walkover for one side or a supremely hard slog to impossible for the other.
If 25 people can't make it to the tw out of a guild of 50, those 25 who did make it who are 3mil + GP should not go up against a guild with <1mil players, but currently, they do, infact they get a super easy win because their guild did NOT participate. The current system rewards you for not participating on purpose.
That 25 should instead be put up against a guild who they should be put up against, and lose.
