i don't know man, your post seems to filled with arguments in favour of it being easier to win in the 50m GP range than it is in the 160m GP range.
Matchmaking is based on lvl of progression (GP), not on skill, organization and dedication. Generally speaking guilds in the lower ranges are less skillfull, organized and dedicated than the guilds in the higher ranges, so in order to win in the lower ranges it's easier to become or simply be better than your opponents.
I played clash of clans for a good while, wich also has a vs mode where you get matched with opponents based on progression. Quite a few of my clanmates also had alt accounts with wich we formed another clan. That clan was no where near as far along progression wise as our main accounts. In the vs mode we racked up win after win after win without any effort with our alt accounts, where as with our main accounts we had to put in way more effort in coordination, base design (similar to team set-ups) etc. etc.
No, i'm not forgetting that, that is exactly the reason why it's easier to win at the 50m GP range. They'll progress faster sure, but in the meanwhile it's easier for them to beat guilds with similar GP just because they're better. At a certain point they'll start running into more equally matched guilds skill/dedication/organisation wise though, at wich point they will no longer easily win, hence it being easier to win at lower GP.
They could also stop increasing their GP just to keep winning TW's. In reality no one does that ofcourse, but if your main goal in swgoh is to win TW's, i would recommend staying in the lower GP brackets for sure. Get 1 or 2 whale accounts with a whole lot of low GP accounts and just go to town on the opposition.
Key point is that you aren't matched vs truly equal guilds, you're matching with guilds that have roughly the same amount of GP. Level of progression and lvl of skill/dedication/organisation aren't necessarily tied to one another.
It's easier because you CAN get organized as opposed to having to BE organized.
Honestly, i'm not sure why you still keep saying it's just as difficult to win for any guild regardless of GP range, it simply isn't. Do you honestly think a 50m gp guild getting a 5 winstreak is just as impressive as a 140m GP guild getting a 5 winstreak? (obviously if they're matched with opponents with similar GP, and didnt have 5 mismatches (GP wise) in their favour)

You are forgetting that there are wildly different types of people who play this game and join guilds. The ones that do "easily" beat their opposing guilds in 50m GP range deserve to win, and they as a guild are most likely progressing at a much faster rate than the opposing guilds and will soon be in the 60, 70 range, etc.

Well, who's to say that the team in question CAN get organized and strategic?
