tbf I doubt it, our guild for example got a 14M gp higher guild with more g12 meta toons as gk, thrawn, cls... and more zetas with similar average arena ranking
we got +10M GP this tw, we never got a close GP opponent in all the previous tw.
I'd love if a dev could clear what's the criteria in matchmaking.

I don't think they will give us any more specific details to avoid people trying to work the system.
