Don't hate the player, hate the game?
Sounds like your version is actually, "Don't hate the player, hate the game...and continue playing the game. Just hate it harder."
Not to mention that letting a game developer, or any company or organization...or actually anyone else make your financial decisions for you...seems like a losing proposition. I'm sure you'll do great, though. Please keep us posted.
I never let them make my decisions for me. When I spend money I can afford to. I'm not a multimillionaire, but I have dispensible income to spare. I even enjoyed the cheaper marquees, but then CG went overboard and gave us more than three for Ahsoka. Which made Ahsoka crazy expensive as a GL, on top of the R9s and whatnot.
I don't really hate the game or any part of it and I don't hate anyone at CG. I just think they have weak leadership making business decisions solely based on revenue, not creating a quality product or engaging with players who enjoy playing the game to attend to their concerns. I don't expect everything players want to be implemented, but they used to interact far more with us and try to make ideas work in game.
