The Increasing Pace of New Character Releases is Becoming Unmanageable
Hi everyone,
I wanted to bring up a concern I have about the current state of character releases in the game. While I appreciate the constant flow of new content, the pace at which new characters are being introduced has reached a point where it's becoming increasingly unsustainable for many players, myself included.
The cycle for releasing new characters, combined with the ever-increasing resource demands to fully farm, level up, and gear them, has become a real problem. The amount of time and resources required to keep up with new releases is really massive, and for many players, this is starting to feel more like a second job than a fun hobby.
It's no longer just about getting the characters! It's about having the resources to make them usable.
On top of that, the time we have to familiarize ourselves with new characters and their synergies is incredibly short. In many cases, the latest releases just feel like a race against the clock, with the fear that if you don't prioritize the right character, you'll fall behind!
The situation is starting to become frustrating even for long-time players and I fear it might push away players who can't keep up.
The balance between new content and the time needed to enjoy it is critical, and right now, it feels like the game is tipping toward becoming a grind instead of a fun experience.
I'd like to see a more sustainable pace of releases that allows players the time to truly appreciate and experiment with new content.
Maybe reducing the frequency of character releases, or making some events more accessible, could help create a better balance between content and the player experience.
Has anyone else been feeling this way?
How are you managing to keep up?
To make matters worse, I’ve lost count of the number of packs I’ve purchased (actually, I can’t count them anymore, because I’ve run out of crystals).
And what did I get? The best I ever pulled was 50 shards... once!
That’s it. The return on investment has been extremely disappointing.
Rather than encouraging me to spend more, the overwhelming number of characters and poor drop rates are doing the exact opposite: they're discouraging me from investing further, because it no longer feels rewarding or manageable.
Looking forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts.
