TBF there are more light side than dark side in the sw universe so it's not a massive stretch in regards to there being more light side.
The problem is accessibility and quality.
The power creep in LS characters has left DS behind.
As for accessibility. Compare DN, Krennic, Assassin, DT etc to phoenix, rogue 1 etc squads.
Which ones are the easier farm? Just about ever DS character is on a looooonnngg farm hard node.
