The MagmaTrooper...

With most of my resources exhausted trying to scrap together a decent enough 5* empire team to get R2( lord knows when he'll be back) I've come to the conclusion that without palpatine in time I need a 5th man. Magma seems to be the easiest grab. I ask that all please pray that the force is with me

    Magma is good for TM reduction (natural and on a Zader lead) but not great damage other than that. He's a fine one to slot in

    He is tanky and can take a beating as well. I was all set to use Shore Trooper then realized I will probably have to have 7* characters. Yep, Bring on Magma Trooper!

    Yeah he's the only other empire toon I can get to 7 stars in time for my fifth character. I'm not planning to gear him tho, if I can beat it with Palp Vader and RG. My tfp is also pretty weak.

    I'd recommend not taking him past gear 7 as he needs a bunch of those mk 3 holo projectors of which R2 needs 6. Unless you really need him to be higher than that, but I'd hold off unless you need that gear to beat the event and save it for R2.
