the real character that needs to be reworked. he is an attacker that doesn't deal damage. his basic is ranked 88th of all basic attacks with the only worse attacker being kylo ren, and his special doesn't even show up with damage on swgoh.gg, not that there is much to see from it. his unique is intresting and good, but usless with his 2k damage. Also as a refrence nightsister acolyte has a better basic and sepcial then him (and most people, that i have seen, want the nightsisters buffed)really for him they need to buff his damage a bit, nothing drastic like anakin or boba, or change him into a tank and increase his defense and health. what do you guys think, i personally just want him to be a bit better or a tank.https://swgoh.gg/characters/magmatrooper/

Why would he need a rework? Some random trooper definitely shouldn't be a quality toon...it's realistic in a sense..he's one of a million in the SW universe, why should he stand out in SWGOH? Just my two cents..

Wtf? Okay 1st of all i have been off forums for awhile....like 3 months...not much has changed except i still cant change my flipping profile picture.But my 100 is still my fav droid. 30k hp 60k protection 8-12k dmg on crits pending buff...more dmg would be nice, but he is still one of the most underrated toons.I like using hk (L) 100/b2/k2/je this combo steamrolls just about everything with biggest issue being the time limit in arena, otherwise its really really solid and can soak up a few rounds of wigbo assualts and still have everyman standing...and as usual 100 is always last man standing.This team got me a 5* jyn in the tourney no sweat i just run out of ally points. But the ig-100 always comes through with a flurry of 4-8k aoe, 8k, 10k, 12k basics in turn...especially when k2 isn't tuanting. K2/100 works extremely well.Notwithstanding if he were to buffed, it should be his counterattack %... that way his tm fills more often under hk lead and and he poses a bigger threat to aoe toons commonly used like biggs/lando/ep/vader/boba. Heck boost his resistance to stuns! That alone would make him feared!

i dont want him to stand out either, i just want him to be a bit better, either slighly stronger attacks to be en-line with other attackers attackers (not rey, anakin, boba damage), or change him to a tank leaving him mainly how he is

I like Magma. His special is very consistent with some potency mods and/or a palp lead, but he has never been truly viable. I used him as an extra hand to initially get me through the potency mod challenge before Palpatine came out, but haven't been able to use him much since then. I have him stuck at G8 because I don't want to invest 100 stun cuffs in a useless toon. His health is good, UA is cool, special is fine, but his damage is absolute trash and he has nothing else to help him. His damage needs to be significantly increased. Another idea I have is to make his special a 2 turn cooldown so he can use it every other turn. That would make him actually a threat.

Pretty easy fix- Change Veers to be a "trooper" commander and give epic buffs to an all "trooper" based team... just need to add a generic-trooper tag to generic trooper characters.
