Maybe This Game Just Isn't for Me Anymore
At some point, you start questioning the whole thing.
You spend money or a ton of crystals to unlock a character, then you have to spend even more resources to level them up… only to find out you can't actually use that character for months.
I’ve paid for almost every era character, with the exception of Cassian, and honestly, I just don’t want to do it anymore.
Whether it’s crystals, money, gear, relics, or all the other resources required to get these characters where they need to be, the cycle has started to feel ridiculous. And the final kicker is investing all of that just to have the character sit on the bench because the content isn't available yet.
It actually got me thinking, “Maybe I’m the problem.”
The same thing goes for Galactic Legends. What’s the point of rushing to unlock one of the newest characters first if you’re then going to wait forever before you can actually use them in the content they were designed for?
I used to be excited about getting characters early. Now I find myself thinking about the cost, the grind, the gear, the relics, and how long it’ll be before I can actually enjoy what I just invested in.
And honestly, maybe this just isn’t for me anymore.
Maybe I need to stop chasing every new character and find a different hobby where spending money doesn’t come with another waiting period before I can actually use what I paid for.
I’m not trying to tell anyone else how to play or spend their money. If you’re enjoying the game, genuinely, more power to you.
I’m just realizing that I’m not enjoying this cycle anymore.
