Nerfs the new OP toons back in line with the rest after a few months. Everybody had their fun, back in line. Otherwise we will reach a point where one aoe will kill all enemy toons and the fastest to drop it will win.
Arena matches we used to have to finish on auto to win within 5 minutes are now won in under 1min 30s or less. Effectively nullifying the introduction of protection.
In short, agree with OP, this escalation is just going into the wall.
