How are pod racers NOT on topic for a Phantom Menace raid thread?

I like the pod racer idea better.

Sorry but I really don’t like pod racing. Pod racers should do something with their lives instead of just driving around in circles.

There were no clones in the Phantom Menace just droids.

It's the Grievous raid ,without Grievous, but on a ship.

Would still be better than pod racing or any kind of spaceship fighting.

we should never have allowed earth to last long enough for this

Pod racing scene is in the middle of the movie, in case any devs are reading this

Pod Racers

Instead of stacks of timber we can have stacks of boulders. Leave everything else the same as the speeder bike raid. Who's with me? :smile:

The developers are finished developing the speeder bike raid.
They won't replace stacks of timber with stacks of boulders.
If the developers are spiteful they might remove C-3po escaping from battle so you can only use him ones in speeder bike raid, they are already investigating.
Only time will tell.
I use c-3po with left over ewoks and rebels.

Agree with you 100%
plus yet another raid(pod racer) that gives motion sickness.
I would rather attack Droid Capital ship.

The motion sickness is the best part - it really gives the game another level of realism. It's really quite an accomplishment for a game to evoke a physiological response from the player. I don't feel that's getting the credit it deserves.

On a more serious note - there's lots of great raid ideas floating around. I'm not sure what your idea would look like, but at the end of the day new content is new content and I welcome whatever comes next. For now, the speeder bike raid is fun and I really don't think it deserves the flak it's gotten so far. Hopefully CG can do something about the background for those that are negatively affected by that.

+1, but without the motion sickness rolling screen
