The Pit Challenge Tier & Relic 8 [MEGA]

Seriously @CG_SBCrumb how many million times are players going to have to say this to CG: What the heck is with constantly trying to require/force players to spend their gear/relics/etc. by putting minimum Gear and/or Relic levels onto activities?! :s :( :/ :#
This game is primarily a resource management and tactics game, so players should be free to upgrade their roster or not as they see fit to succeed in arena/events/raids/GAC/GC/etc.
It is utterly ridiculous to have a strict REQUIREMENT of Relic-5 or higher for the Pit Challenge raid, just as it was a few months back when you did the exact same thing on the release of Galactic Challenge events and once again players told you the exact same thing, yet again!!
What is it about this that doesn't seem to permeate through from the tons of players complaints and into your long-term memory?!?! If we want to try and run a G12 character in the Pit Challenge Raid we should be free to do so, and if it gets utterly destroyed then that's just tough luck on us, but we should be free to try it nonetheless!
