The squad arena

Hello everyone

Please forgive me if I'm posting this in the wrong forum.

So I'm having trouble in my squad arena at the moment and was just wondering if I'm doing something wrong or the reason why this is happening?

Basically long story short in my squad arena I'm facing people a lot higher than myself and when I look at others peoples arena they are facing people of a similar level and power rating?

For example I'm level 78 my power rating is 46k currently rank 930 and I'm fighting level 85 opponents with 70k power and this is just the top 1000 people.

Where as I've just watched a YouTube video of a guy that's level 81 , power 31k and he's a 160 rank facing similar level opponents ?

Could somebody please explain this to me?

    If you like me started the game when it first came out then took a break that would explain it. Your shard is based on when you unlocked squad arena. I've been back playing for months now and i'm just able to scratch top 200.

    Patience, young padawan. You will catch up in time. Yes, looong time, but you will catch up if you play regularly and wisely. You will only climb in small steps, but you can climb.

    First step is to get to level 85 as fast as possible to unlock all content. Spend crystals on energy refreshes.

    If you are able, try to join a good guild, that raids on a regular basis with all members contributing with 600 guild/raid coins every day. Preferably a hAAT guild that accepts that you have a thin roster.

    Focus all your ressources to gear/mod your arena team. Everything else has lower priority. Let your guild mates carry you in raids until you have your own solid roster.

    Ya i agree with Waqui the best way to progress is a good guild where you can hopefully start earning some GK shards. From there just decide what arena team will work for you an work on it. I know my guildmates are always happy to help me out with my squad. The best way to progress is to play with experienced players that can help give you a focus.

    joining a motivated guild will help u alot, they will give u focus and a goal. I would recommend a jedi team, they are good in arena, GW, and hAAT.
