I think he means ship squadrons in the top zone, because he goes on to talk about Embo after mentioning this, and he also says from stage 3 onwards (which we both know isn’t right). The only reason I’m arguing is that every time someone else mentions how unfair ship platoons have been of late, with many guilds unable to complete any at all because of Sith Fighter and Lando’s Falcon, you come on and say that it’s always been this way and that there are no guarantees on the content of any platoons from phase 4 onwards.
Lots of people have pointed out that the ship situation is particularly grating because the devs at least throw us a bone in ground platoons by always making 2/6 fillable, specifically platoons 3&4 in both zones. Sometimes we can fill more than that, but it’s always those 2 that are fillable at a minimum.
I won’t argue with your being able to fill 6/6 in bottom zone this time, because our guild had the same fortune. We could have filled 4/6 in middle, but we opted for 2/6 so that people could keep some empire toons for the special and the combat* - and as ever platoons 3&4 were rammed full of Empire toons so they were the ones we ditched.
I would ask one quick favour though, if you would indulge me...
Before your TB closes, please check your platoon 3&4 for phases 4-6 in middle and bottom. And come back and tell me if there’s a single toon in any of them that isn’t Empire?

Not being able to fill platoons in the current stated design of TB is fair. You want to complete content at a faster pace or at a lower GP, there is a way to do that. $$.
I think of this like every raid that has emerged, the first to do it are the guilds that can brute force it, they do the exact % they need. Everyone complains because its difficult to do that without $$. In the end raids end up being able to be done with a few or just 1 refined team that is crafted down to the exact needs to counter the raid.
TB can be brute forced with pure numbers, but that required a lot of GP or all platoons being filled. In the end though there will be the perfect set of toons that can 6/6 missions without any platoons due to being the perfect setup to counter the missions placed before us.
Things take time and once they setup the design to include those toons, there are 2 ways to deal, 1 complain when you cant fill them, or 2 expect you cant and be pleased when you can. I would choose 2. Especially since as you out it there is always 2 to be filled and therefore you can be happy about that.
