Yes, you deserve to profit from your labor; Yes, customers are allowed to *not* use your product if they find it cumbersome to use or intrusive, which thereby reduces your profit. If they take the time to let you know why, it’s a good idea to listen. :)

I assume you have other methods of generating revenue, such as affiliate links, Patreon, sponsorships, donation jars, etc. Market research here is telling me that perhaps you should look into those more deeply.
