They don't care

Any in-game event means having all your characters at R9 with absurd mods. The enemies are always the same—because coming up with something new would give them a stroke: 1 billion health, 1 billion speed, 1 billion attack. It’s a relief not to play these events.

A special round of applause goes to whoever thought that giving Grievous a skill in the Ground War assault battle was necessary to make him even more unbearable. Judging by the direction the game is taking, that person is sure to rise high in the company hierarchy.

You got me with the Ground War part.

Just because you can't beat it at G9, doesn't mean you need R9.

This is probably one of the better things about the events.  Their teaching players the importance of modding, albeit the hard way.  If you watch a YT guide on an event and realise your mods aren't up to scratch, it's telling you really need to improve and what mods you need to improve.

I'm sure eventually this will change... 2 billion health, 2 billion speed, 2 billion attack!

This is actually based off of the 'old' Grievous.  Grievous got a rework about 7 years? ago.  This was a turbo version of the old GG. IIRC with the death mark, right?  In PvP he's better as he is now.

    ...or die of old age.

I do get the emotion though.  Events are not something to look forward to; you do them once and thank the Jawa gods you don't have to do them again.  There have been events, like the CLS event, that gave a good feeling.  Now though, they don't happen.

I don't think it's easy to design events that you look forward to, but it shouldn't be too hard to design events that you don't dread.

  • Didn't everyone 3-star CT3 on this one well over a year ago? :)

  • other ppl have mentioned mods and JKLS and the weird r9 thing, so I will just say this:

    Are you in a guild?

A huge part of the importance of a guild is that it gives other players the incentive to help you, bc when they help you then your roster improves which helps them in TB, TW, and Raids.

If you are not in a guild with a Discord channel where you can drop into the chat, "Hey, I can't beat this event. Can anyone help?" and get 6 volunteers to help you over the next 6 hours, then you're not in a good guild. You need and deserve better.

And if you are in a guild that helps each other, but you're here, then you need to realize that the bad player holding everyone back is you, bc you're not participating in the guild's culture of mutual support. I mean, if you're not asking other people for help, you probably aren't helping other people either (or if you are, you're acting better than them for having solved it and you offer advice only to prove your superiority).

So go to your guild, learn to accept and provide kind, generous help, and make your guild the force in the galaxy that it should be.

Or, if your guild is toxic and the reason you're not asking for help is bc they're bad not bc you are, then leave your guild for someplace better and your entire experience of the game will be much improved.

Guilds are good. Participate in your guild. Build something great.
