Wow OP. As a 9-month player, I want to let you know, it's the struggle that makes this game fun. The analyzing what you can do better makes it worthwhile.
1. I didn't even have a real good full team till mid-60. Mostly because of the way I play. Phoenix Squad didn't exist when I started, but the fact that they can beat "stronger" teams occasionally due to RNG helps younger players. Galactic Power is just calculating all the improvements a players makes on a Toon. Gear, Level, Mod, and Abilities. But as you know, not all Toons are created equal. Plus you're not supposed to rely completely on Galactic Power to determine if you should face a particular team, you should look at the Toons themselves.
2. I didn't start consistently beat GW till I was almost mid-70. Mostly because by then I have 7 teams, and 3 of them were of the "sacrificial" kind. Now as a Level 85, on average 2-3 teams is enough without a "sacrificial" team. Back when I was at your level, getting to node #8 made me a happy camper, because I usually get wiped out at node 6.
3. There are a lot of Toons great to have, but terrible to face. That's why having Toons that can counter helps. Have you not faced Dooku or Daka or Chirrut or Nihilus or Maul or HK or Scarif Pathfinder or original Kylo?
Money helps, yes. But time to research, farm useful Toons, be in a Guild that helps with resources (and does Raids) are what makes a F2P survive. The game gives a lot for free too, granted sometimes not all useful, but it's mostly up to you.
If you stick around and get to Level 80, I'm sure you'll have a few more complete teams on your roster that expands your options for every part of the game. You should then look back at this post and your attitude and cringe.
