This game was fun...for a few days
This game is more fun to play when you can make some progress. The double/triple drops dramatically increases shards for single drop(aka non accelerated) toons. It makes the game more fun to play. I don't think CG realizes that. CG makes choices that sometimes hurt gameplay or stagnate gameplay where players don't progress and it simply causes people who are fans of star wars to quit. On top of that, i think people are more likely to spend when feeling like they are progressing.
There are serious bottlenecks (and there always have been even back in the carbantis and stun guns days). Now they have shifted to kyrotech, g12+ materials, relic mats, and signal data.
But farming toons should not be boring.
Some examples: ( i realize there is someone who will stand up for CG for some reason and that's fine but the truth is that farming one toon ( non GL, non legendary) should not be a time consuming endeavor. One month is a long time. Even if you go crazy burning crystals on refreshes, it's still a low drop rate. I mean, how bad are people wanting "Appo" compared to Vader)
Single drop (toons and ships) : why is this good for the game? How is farming the same node for a ship for months fun. I get it, newer toons should be harder to farm so you push them to pay for shards. But after a few months, we are not going to purchase shards. Certainly not 330 of them. Heck, even the peridea patrol are single drops. Worse yet, many players can't even beat T1 or T2 of their assault battle to get more shards (and they are not popular toons so who would farm them otherwise?)
Signal data; are we supposed to farm signal data month after month? The drops are low and it requires some for every toon for every relic.
I would seriously drop this game and play the same game that allows faster progress. Lower shards needed from 330 to 180. Cut g12 piece reqs in half, cut relic materials in half. Cut signal data down. Yes, it makes the game easier to progress but that is a good thing. The more areas of the game a player can participate in, the more likely they are to keep playing.
