You mean taking over the fight instead of the AI? Sounds interesting, but that surely would be a very big change in the implementation with some serious implications.
But often someone who locks you doesn't even intend to fight but just lets the countdown go down. In that case it would make no difference.

I feel like people spend more crystals blocking others than the difference in winnings. It's not worth getting mad that you cant spend 500 crystals to maintain 1st when the difference between first and second is 50 crystals.

Additionally, we have who I will dub Whaley McCryAzz who is one of these types who has some curious need to be #1 at every possible hour of the day -- he actually requested that we msg him once we've each reached payout so he can immediately climb back in 1st. But he's not so insufferable as to hit us back at payout; according to him, he "lets us get paid." (rolling my eyes.)

As for the main group, as I see it we're not "colluding" as much as we've coordinated to not unknowingly hit one another near our respective payouts. That's just semantics I guess.

TL;DR to the OP - sounds like you are dealing with chumps but do your best to tolerate them, you don't have to be their buddy but some flexibility and coordination on your part will result in a net Crystal gain.

Being an arsebag is a subjective matter, where assignment solely lies at the discretion of the user. So the shoe fits and doesn't fit, depending on the user. I would rate myself as an arsebag probably about 70 percent of the time.

There was a dude on my server just like that. It's almost as if he got off on it..and I'm guessing he did. He isn't doing so well anymore since the rise of the zMaul/Chaze/Kenobi meta.

People like that deserve a beat down ingame. Always target his squad. Even if it means allowing someone else to beat your team to get behind his rank just so you can lay a smack down on him to drop his rank. Make that chump spend his crystals.

I often hit people that I know who try to snipe my friends ... albeit I can only hit whomever is at 4, 3 or 2 but still if it's someone that I know is a notorious sniper .. I just hit him like 5-7 min before payout and sit back lol

You think they are really going to hand out more 1st place rewards then they currently do and keep the payments the same??? If so keep deaming. If the number of possible 1st place finishes goes up beyond the current 24 then the payout will go down to keep it average out to the same.

I would be fine with reduced rewards to give up being summoned to my phone on 1755/1855 daily.

You can take your 150 crystals at rank 50 or whatever it is. Just don't get upset when the people who are trying to get #1 and 500 crystals actually do it.

The main point of mentioning the reduced rewards is simply because if they increase the number of #1 payouts don't expect the same rewards.
Most of the changes suggested all the time involve make more number #1 payouts daily. If one goes up the other goes down. Hope for the best expect the worse.

I could actually care less if they make a change or not because it is a game and i will play if I am having fun with whatever system is in place, which I am currently still having fun. If they ban outside communications or not, change refreshes or not, change payout format or not I will still play.

As far as competition goes the only real competition in My Squad Arena is who can hit the battle button the fastest.
