This new Era thing is just a way to squeeze more money out of whales!!
There's no benefit really at all for 99% of players. The insane amount of random resources required to level these units up is simply not worth it. Once they come out of era it's gear and materials most people have saved up anyway. You could spend a month fussing with this garbage system or just wait till the unit becomes available the normal way.
To get a unit at LV85 is almost impossible unless you spend a fortune. Plus now you've taken away awards on the era track to put that stupid era currency in, which again is useless for 99% or your players. This entire system is a scam, which by the way, is only for the 1% or your base that pays your bills. Judging by the scores some players have, seems to have worked for you. This isn't including the shards even. Whales would spend a fortune on those, now you've found a way to squeeze more money out of them! What a joke.
To the whales, boycott this horrible monetization system and maybe it'll go away! End the Era system!
