I was thinking for my plan of action is forget the isb toons (Dedra, and the new guy got to 5 stars tho) but hoard all the extra gear and currency you get from not leveling the up and let it translate into era currency for for LSTS as if last era is anything to go off of cassian with carry coliseum so kleya, Val, and cintaz level up otherwise let it convert to extra era currency at the end of era anyone else think this may be a good plan or is it a waste of time

OK. So you have planned what you need and where you would ideally like to improve.
However, instead of focusing on those things, you invested heavily in the current Era.

Getting Era characters to 5 stars is a big investment of crystals (or money) As I wrote, you're paying through the nose for the new stuff (in money or crystals) and you've lost focus on what you should be spending crystals/money on. OK, if you've been buying the Era pass, that's make it financially better. If you've just been using your crystal resources....In my opinion, that's a poor return compared to where you could have spent them.

What you would get for the crystal expenditure; when you compare the new Era or getting older characters (like SLKR or GL Rey) is hugely different.
My advice for the future; concentrate on what will make your account much better, not the current Era. I see Eras being more important for big spenders and/or end game players. However, that said, you can get a lot done once this Era's characters become legacy. Conquest will heavily rely on the new Era stuff, you'll get a good legendary character and with the Focused Datacrons (that are bound to drop) it'll add a lot of punch to your GAC and TW for the 3 months after that. It's important that you put the work into Conquest though.
I'd say push this Era to the very max (as I hinted and Zanir stated, cashing in for store currency is a bad idea). Then after this Era, focus on your journeys, not Eras. That's just my advice though.....Eras are so new, who knows what will be best for your account in a years time.
Not sure I understand I spend crystals which I gain for free over 2.5 months to get 5 full r6 7 star characters I literally can’t farm them to 7 stars that fast I’m currently farming revan requirements at the same time and I’m not at 7 stars on them yet so for 6 mill go getting LSTs greatly helps as I reduce how much kyrotech I need to spend and my other spot with the game is I need the bigger journey characters to really do way better in GAC
That's a very difficult question. This is all new ground, so we don't really know how much investment is worth it (compared to saving for other stuff). Also, I think it depends on where you and your account actually are in the game. If LSTs are this enticing, I'd guess you're not near 'end game'.
I think it also depends on your goals. I guess for a lot of people, PvP e.g. GAC is a priority. We know that the Era before this one joined PvP in quite a powerful place, aided by datacrons. We can expect this Era to be the same. If you've invested to 5 star and care about GAC, it might be a good idea to take everything as far as you can and benefit from your hard work. You do need to put the work into Conquest though, to get the datacron mats.
You also have to ask yourself, if you're not end-game, how much is investing in the latest Era actually worth? Like most things in life, you pay through the nose for the 'latest, newest thing'. This is something I personally don't see good value. I'm notorious (in game & in real life) for waiting for prices to become reasonable. So, me personally I don't see great value in the newest Eras unless you are end-game.
In short, you need to think about your goals and the best way to achieve them. Investing heavily on the latest Era, but relying on Era store LSTs seems a little bit of a contradiction. On the other hand, if you've got this far, why not take them as far as you can? LSTs will only save you a certain amount of time and I don't think the conversion rate is particularly enticing.
The conversion rate is pitiful. Terrible plan. CG thought of this before you did. You're better off using Era gear as intended.
