Stop whining.
During the CLS event a lot of EP IV toons were redone and received massive upgrades.
The same toons are the ones you fight in the R2 event.
I that case devs confirmed that the rebel pass didn't affect the difficulty on the R2 event much.
Therefore I'm absolutely possitive that there has been exactly zero changes to the difficulty of the Thrawn event - since none of the opposite forces has been touched. Phoenix on the other hand now has zetas.
Many people have unlocked 7* Thrawn with G8 squads ... Personally I had to gear Ezra to G10 and be smarter about my mods before I managed to get him.
Please look at your mods and think about if they could be improved.
