Feel a bit embarrassed for all the ranting and raving. I got him this afternoon playing while waiting in line of all places. I went from totally wiping (and wiping fast) to clearing him in 3 tries. The difference was speed. I used today's credit heist to upgrade mods like crazy which made a huge difference. Although RNG is important, without proper speed it's a lesson in frustration as your toons are hit 2-3 times vs every attack. Speed slows it down so you can better strategize.
