Thrawn event on saturday? Only 3 days from now???

Get over it, there was more than enough time for Thrawn. That's why events come back. It's not usual to get every toon first try. Of course whales have an advantage, but that's why they spend money. Also people who farmed former useless toons like Old Ben benefit from this "waste" now. Crying about not having enough time to farm Phoenix (totally easy to farm by the way) is childish.

Real nice EA.. always great with so much warning for an important event like this. Especially since you put farming the last phoenix chars on hold due to the BB8 event, which isn't even finished yet.

It's been almost 4 months! You can't get all toons at once, you get to choose your priorities. If Thrawn was one, 4 months is more than enough to get Phoenix at 7*. And it will come back, it's not like a one-time event...

Would you prefer that these events don't come back? It seems to me that it will never be a good time for an event to return...

If you want to make a team relevant, you'll need to work hard at getting whatever character is released that you need. This much is universally agreed upon. Focus your energy on one area. As soon as Thrawn was announced, I knew I wanted him. I couldn't achieve 7*s when he released, though, so I've been working on Phoenix ever since. Mine are all 7*, gear 9/10. I prioritized them over everything else. It very nearly cost me commander Luke, but I needed to finish my Hera before switching cantina energy to finishing my old Ben. And while it might seem easy for me to say, given that I've unlocked commander Luke, the fact is I was ready to miss Luke. Because Thrawn could have happened next. And I wouldn't have been ready.

I barely unlocked BB-8, this time. I will not be getting 6*s, let alone 7. And even though resistance is something I'm working on, that's ok. I'll get first order farmed up, and I'll be ready when he returns.

The point is, planning is what will get you through. Plan for what you want, and don't get distracted by new things that you don't need.

For palps event, i only 5* first time, for R2 7*, for Thrawn, 5*, CLS 0*, then BB8 0*, not everyone can get any legendary at 7* the first time. Focus on what you need , then take it 1 at a time. I will be ready for CLS when it comes, but i have not even started to farm for BB8 since i need to complete TB chars (CHan).

Yes, only 3 days left. I am ready for 6, will try to 7*, but I would like to know if there will be double drops on Sabine DS battles. I am short 90 to 7. I should make it.

Those fanboy defended dev so hard before that "A team rises from the ashes not meaning phoenix". Lol

Thrawn was such a huge character when he was first released that everyone with a little bit of sense pre-farmed those Phoenix scrubs to 7* after the first event ended. And four of them weren't even mutually exclusive, just keep buying them steadily from Arena, GW, Cantina and Guild Stores and you have your 7* Kanan/Zeb/Chopper/Sabine. That leaves Hera and Ezra in the Cantina Battles. Just two toons that is, for an entire legendary event. Surely when Yoda first came around we had to work a lot harder to get there.
