I’ve been a player since Dec 2015. Have spent an average of $5k/year since then.
Haven’t spent a dime since GAS. Won’t either unless the game pulls up from its nose dive.
Some folks who are backing the devs with this past bug, and with GAS, and with epic confrontation—-i wonder how many of them are actualy whales. Actually funded the development of this game in a meaningful way.
Because, at the very least, I’ve paid for the right to express my discontent. I’m a well paying customer. Or was until I had enough. Enough of critical errors that are not becoming of a multi-million dollar a year enterprise.
So I’ve sunk dough in the game, I don’t want to just walk away from the “investment”, the collection. But—-I’m not risking another penny. And every day I go without spending, I wake more and more up and see more and more that these emperors have no clothes.
Unless there’s a real meaningful change—-not talking content, but company philosophy—-then I’ll never return to whaling here.
There’s other things I can do with my money. Fun things, and things I believe are worth the expenditure.
Oh well. Nothing lasts forever anyway.
