Time management suggestion

I see more and more people leaving the game because of the strain on time it has become and fewer people willing to start the game because of the amount of time it takes just to keep up. I would imagine most of the player base cannot keep up with everything, so here are a few suggestions to help with time management:

Arena shard payouts: decrease it significantly but make it earned every hour, with the payout giving you what you earned for the day. For example: holding a spot in the top 100 now pays 10% of the original value once an hour. Maybe less than 10 since there are 24 hours. This would make arena way more competitive, destroy these trading spots shards, and allow people to play the arena when they have the time rather then at a fixed time.

Raids: get rid of tickets, everyone hitting 600 a day to stay competitive is silly. I hit mine easily most days but we are busy. Allow each raid to be ran once a week with refreshes on Sundays. Guilds can run what they feel comfortable with, triple rewards across the board to reflect the reduced raiding. Or 2.5 increase.

Both of these would help make time invested decrease dramatically and encourage people with lives to be able to play competitively which in turn would encourage more investments.

Other thing to consider would be to give us the option of turning off cut scenes in the settings menu. Once I've seen it, I don't need to keep watching it. It makes those endless attempts on events sad.

These are just a few of my thoughts to help keep busy people invested.
  • I don't know, trying to log on the hour before pay out and burning my attempts every 10 minutes for an hour to be competitive is a time sink. People who just waste their arena attempts no where close to payout I understand it isn't as daunting. With that said tb and tw are easy enough to work into a schedule. As the battles themselves are short and when I hit is up to me. Sith raid takes forever and the other two raids demand logging on at a specific time to complete because they end too quickly

No it wouldnt. You only have 5 attempts

Yes, it would. For competitive players, who aim to maximize the outcome.
  • The arena idea is for lack of better terms poor.

Once a week raids, again poor idea. It would be more of a time sink trying to make sure you're maintaining the same Or higher bracket to get max rewards.

The time sink this game is has nothing to do with daily 600 energy, I mean does it really take that long to login, sim 30(20 energy nodes)-75(8 energy nodes) fights?

The biggest time consuming events are the new sith raid, TB, and to a lesser extent TW
  • I would agree with syrupchugger here.
    And add a few points.
    They would not change it.
This makes money for them. Hence no change.
But i believe TW takes more time than TB as there has to be some strategy and fine tuning.

This would also make arena a 24h stress for competitive players instead of only a 1h stress, which conflicts with your motivation for changing things.

totally agree about the arena issue. to be or stay competitive i pretty much have to dedicate 2 hours between squad and fleet arena. i hate having to do that to get any significant crystals, particularly when the 2 hours are chosen for me, whether they're convenient or not.
  • Same here and the time of pay outs is horrible. Should be later in the day if they are going to stick with the current form. 6 and 7 in the evening seems silly unless this game is the only thing you do
  • By maximize the outcome you mean attacking 5 times during the day before an hour ends? How would that be worse then attacking 5 times in a row? The time would be the same spent but when they spend that time would be their choice. The way it is now doesn't support competitive players, just people who can waste an hour.

On their own they aren’t bad, together they leave people gasping for air and leadership working a full time job to keep track and coordinate. And that’s not even bringing up the fact that all three can require massively different rosters and modding set ups on top of that.
