Title update content?

Say what you will about the lack of communication, and there is a lot to be said.

They do normally give some heads up for new stuff, GLs, GI, proving grounds, GAC changes, etc…

So not giving a heads up what this title change includes is suspect. They probably already know there will be a lot of backlash.

Because... LucasFilm objected to all the other legends characters coming to the game? ? It's not like this game is considered "Canon", and besides, they've been slowly introducing legends back into the canon, so anything is possible.

I'm not sure food preference counts as communication in the context of a community wanting to know what's happening with the game. I appreciate "seeing" the person behind the tag , and that he can only release what he's "allowed" to or is actually available / ready , so no shade on him personally. However, as a company that is selling a product to customers it would be nice to at least get an update , even if it's "no news this week" as this is in fact communication.

Chances are low but we can keep dreaming. Imagine the TU will not introduces Datacrons nor Relic 10, but finally introduce fleet loadouts. Maybe even a rework of mod management. I think it has to be something going deeper into the game framework, since they postponed conquest which was already established with enemies, datadiscs and feats.

Considering the complete lack of communication (sorry, one post a week) that we've had since Doja left and Crumb went on paternity leave, were you really expecting any communication whatsoever?

I'm sure meathead has done what he could. He's been active and trying to engage with the community - at least as much as he's able to. They don't really let the CMs give out any meaningful information except in small doses and usually when an update or change is imminent, with a few exceptions. This isn't really new - not that I love their MO, but Doja being gone and Crumb being on leave hasn't really affected how much information that we're getting.

I'm sorry but when did he interact with the community? I'm not trying to be mean but communication is really at a trash level with CG...

The purpose was to move the PVP events out of the way, because datacrons are PVP oriented. And Conquest was moved because it will (potentially) reward datacrons.

I thought the leak said that datacrons would be active in all game modes? You make a very valid point that it’s more targeted for tw/gac so maybe they’re just not concerned about bugs in the update that disrupt conquest/tb.

Were they ever concerned about bugs in conquest?

Bugs in conquest keep things spicy, keeps you engaged. It's all about engagement.

I remember a bug where Jedi Knight Luke's speed reduced from exhausted stamina also affected squad arena battles.
