I don't think they care about the exploits affecting tourneys, they just canned the u wing tourney because of K2 being exclusive
I agree completely - but at the same time, the fact that they either "forgot" that fact or simply hadn't thought through the implications is disturbing and extremely concerning.
To the OP's point, it does seem very misleading to cancel it tournament for a ship while the tournament for one of its crew is going. I'm sure there are many players who have Jyn and K2SO that were only pursuing Cassian because of the upcoming ship tournament. I was one.
BTW, MBL, your rebel defense team was ridiculous. ;)
