My question is this: who really cares about 'new' content when all the changes they have made are against 'new' player base?

How so 5 is still better then the original 3, marquees are still better then the original releases going into the character packs, node refreshes are 25/50 compared to 50/100, more shops to get shards and gear from then the first year so its way more friendly to newer players compared to around 2-3 years ago.

Yes, steps were made in the right direction. But now, some of those steps are getting reverted.

8 was said to be temporary in the in game mail when the change happened from 5 to 8. 8 made farming toons a bit to fast is nice i would be fine with it but can see it ruining the purpose of the game of managing resources (energy/gear/ect) which allows to farm toons a bit fastet then what should be healthy for the game long term yes everyone wants everything now but its a grind game part of the reason why new ayers are stuck eith new players in arenas so they are about equal only way for a new pkayer th catch up to long time playing player is to whale out on everything or have the other player stop for a long time

BITLY is the correct morse code on the lightsaber.

But there are a few more informations in these two colored fields:

1) blue rect.

- decimal color code is 39 - 7 - 137
- every color inside has 18 pixels
- blue color are 34 px

2) yellow rect.

- decimal color code is 135 - 102 - 6
- first two color areas have 16 px., the last 20 px.
- yellow colored are 38 px.

I don't know IF these numbers are helpful but who knows ;-)

I tried a few permutations of the mentioned characters above but none worked so far.

Seems like the ASCII conversion probably is the right path, given it provides with a workable next step to add on to the Bitly. Maybe something in the transmission info gives us a way to pull characters out of those blocks to finish the url?

My concern is, when the community (at least a large portion of it) are happy with something, its usually the first thing that gets looked at for change, because it seems happiness=not making enough $$.

While they are a business interested in making money the community (for a large portion) are not large spenders, and anything that shifts direction to the spending market is always going to be pushed back against.

Usually I am for new content and have enjoyed the puzzles, but new content usually means spend $$ or be left behind and coupling that with changes that affect F2P far more than any other portion of the community, seems like CG/EA are doubling down and that, *that* is the response the community has received.

Not an overt response, but one of implication.

Some will say that's an assumption. I say I'm just reading the writing on the wall.

When did they announce that the change to 8 was temporary? I remember that they tried changing from 8 to 5 before and the community got them to change it back. Don't remember the temporary word being used after that. Please enlighten me.
