Umbaran Starfighter Typing Error?

In the description of the reckless piloting atttack of fives' umbaran star fighter, it says "Whenever US attacks, it gains 5% tm and the target gains 25% tm"
it looks silly. maybe they mean "US gains 5% and the target loses 25%" ??
i am planning to invest in this ship so i wondered if anybody used it?

    Yes it does give the target enemy 25% TM

    The target locked taunter is the the target.

    From what I understand, its a built in drawback to balance the ship otherwise being OP. It's like those Magic/Hearthstone cards with really cheap casting and good effects that make you discard or give the opponent something when played.
  • Is it OP though?
    Enough to give that tm to the opponent? That should be the question..lol

    The TM gain for 5s ships goes up as you level the ability. Level 3 it is at +10% TM for 5's ship and +25% for enemy.
    The point is to give yourself and the enemy TM at the same time.

    I just attack an enemy that is at high TM and it is no big deal.

    scuba but does it hit hard enough for it to be worth it?? I just bought some blue prints so that would be a huge disappointment if it doesn't hit to hard.

    Thats counter productive if you ask me.

    @Big_Boss
    Not really sure what is hard yet. As I have seen Ahsoka's hit for 30k+ on a crit

    Basic at < full health so 20% offense from capital ship

    Again I normally just attack the one with the full to mostly full TM. Then they really don't get the benefit.

    I think the unreisitable Target lock and Offense down on opponents is what makes it a probable good ship

    Can always wait till swgoh.gg is updated to compare the damage multiplers.
