My 2 pennies:
Firstly, didn't you answer your own conclusion (even if rhetoric) question very early in your post?
"All of this on a dying mobile game that’s running out of ideas"
"my question is why? You guys didn’t have to be like this and you don’t have to be so money hungry yet you choose to be. Why"
If it's a dying game, then surely they're going to milk the last drops out of it. However, it's clearly not a dying game (in my eyes anyway) and this makes you come across with a grudge to bear and biased.
"the new episode bull" I quite liked the new episode stuff, it meant I didn't have to do the worst feats in GC so much (which I despise with passion). However, now they've added those new swish datacrons...... that's out the window.
"the old galactic challenges that used to be fun" It did? I must have missed that. It's always being the drizzling poopoo to me. I hate that it's time consuming, I hate that it's often bugged, I hate that you can't see feats, I hated and hate everything about it. I don't see how 'being fun' has changed.....adding p2p feats would have supported your argument, but doesn't add to the 'fun' value'.
" the whole new assault battles that don’t include people you already have" Going to agree with this one. This is annoying me too. I guess I'm 'end game...ish', but in life I'm notoriously slow at keeping up or getting new technology. I sort of play the game like that too. This new style of pushing players to invest resources in the new marquees for a new super event that's better than old events is annoying me too.
"the high requirements for new characters that f2p people won’t achieve for two years at least without dedication." As we progress, so does the 'power-creep'. If new characters are better, so should the requirements, right? New players have choice and can evaluate the experiences of players before them. I don't see the issue here. Unless, you're talking more about conquest style characters that appear to be totally walled to newer players.
