Valin: Kit Concept
Lore: Valin was a member of the Nightbrother clan on Dathomir, and devoted his life to combat. After General Davaron travelled to Dathomir to seek knowledge of the Sith lord Arkra, Valin believed the Jedi was weak and unworthy, challenging him to a fight to the death. Draak emerged victorious but spared Valin's life, saying he would not deprive the Nightbrothers of so great a warrior. Humbled, the zabrak pledged his allegiance to the Jedi until his death.
While Valin was originally the intended fifth for Draak's team, I later created another kit that fits better for Draak's leadership - if Valin were to be the fifth, Commander Gress would probably be the weakest link, but as it stands now Valin would be better suited for a Nightsister team. His status as an Unaligned Force User would also allow for some interesting theory crafting with a Cere team, potentially.
Fiercely loyal to his allies, Valin cuts down enemies with Plague, constantly Taunts, and gains ramping damage whenever his allies are defeated.

Warrior’s Wrath (Basic) (Final text, Omega)
Deal Special damage to target enemy and inflict Plague for 3 turns. Inflict an additional stack of Plague if either Draak Davaron or Mother Talzin is in the leader slot. If the target is already debuffed, grant the weakest ally Protection Up (10%) for 2 turns (stacking).
You Haven’t Beaten Me Yet (Special 1, cooldown 5) (Final text, Zeta)
Remove 100% Protection from target enemy and they recover 100% Health, then deal Special damage to them. This ability deals bonus damage equal to 20% of the target’s Max Health for each stack of Plague removed during this turn. Then, inflict 2 stacks of Plague for 3 turns and recover 50% Health and Protection. If this ability defeats an enemy, recover an additional 50% Health, gain a bonus turn and reduce this ability’s cooldown by 2. This ability can't be evaded or resisted.
Invigorate (Special 2, cooldown 4) (Final text, Omega)
Gain Taunt for 2 turns and all Nightsister allies and Draak Davaron recover 30% of their Max Health and Max Protection, increased by 10% for each stack of Plague on all enemies (max 50%). If a Non-leader Nightsister ally is revived this turn by an allied Mother Talzin’s leader ability, they are not defeated at the end of the turn.
Call target ally to assist twice, and if they are Draak Davaron, inflict Stun on the target enemy for 1 turn and inflict Armor Shred until the end of battle.
I Will Follow You (Unique) (Final text, Zeta, Omicron)
Valin gains Taunt for 1 turn whenever a Nightsister ally is critically hit, and gains Protection Up (5%) for 1 turn whenever Plague is inflicted, triggered or dispelled (stacking). If Draak Davaron is in the leader slot, Valin also Taunts whenever Draak is critically hit until he is damaged. This Taunt can’t be prevented or dispelled.
At the start of battle, if an allied Nightsister is in the Leader slot, Valin counts as a Nightsister. Valin, allied Nightsisters and allied Draak gain +1% Offense for each debuff on all units. The first 2 times Valin is defeated each encounter, he revives with 100% Health and Protection and gains a bonus turn. Whenever Valin is defeated or revived, he gains +10% Offense until the end of the encounter (max 200%, persists through defeat).
While in Grand Arenas: Whenever an Nightsister ally uses a special ability, if Valin was defeated, he revives with 20% Health and Protection for each active Nightsister ally and is called to assist. Whenever Valin is defeated, the cooldown of You Haven’t Beaten Me Yet is reduced by 1 and the cooldown of Invigorate is increased by 1. Whenever another ally is defeated or revived, the cooldown of Invigorate is reduced by 1 (excludes revives from Nightsister leader abilities), and Valin gains +10% Defense Penetration until the end of the encounter (max 200%, persists through defeat).
If Draak Davaron is in the leader slot, and not the ally slot, all other allies take 40% reduced damage while Valin has Taunt.
Recommended Mods: Defense + Health + Potency
Defense and Health keep Valin fighting, while Potency keeps enemies Plagued.
