value of critical avoidance
hi all i am trying to evaluate how effective critical avoidance is? by rearranging mods on my shoretrooper, hp+prot/(1-armor) value may go up by like %5. But i have to give up %21 critical avoidan...

It simply turns the critical hit into a non-critical hit. So if your enemy has 20% crit chance, and you have 24% critical avoidance, they have a -4% crit chance and every attack they do on you is guaranteed to be a non-crit. Dodge/Deflection is another entity entirely. It only mitigates crit damage in the sense that you don't take the critical hit so it will be less damage overall, it doesn't actually directly reduce the damage their crits do.
