Voice lines.

Dude something cool to think about is adding little voice lines to the characters.

  • I do enjoy the Jawas yell utini, 3P0 frets and Chewpio says phrases from Empire.  It most likely has to do with royalties to the actors.  I am sure just to have Anthony Daniels voice in game costs them a pretty penny.  I am glad he is so proactive and insistent his voice be the only voice for 3PO.

I haven’t had the sound on in swgoh in almost the entirety of the 10 years I’ve been playing

I can’t fathom why. Sound is half the experience for me. If I’m doing it in the background, then I’d just turn my phone sound off

    You have it off?

<<<sound off gang too.  I think I started doing it for battery life (I guess it makes a difference) and later on to prevent freezes (again, I hope it makes a difference).  Now and again, I turn the sound on and it's a nice feeling listening to the sounds from when I started.  Especially, battles in the cantina or using the Jawa scavenger!

I have never had an issue with the sound affecting game play, that I am aware of.  I have the full effect of Asteroid Chase music during space battles, the Duel of the Fates when facing Maul, the score of Vader rising and the mechanical breath sounds as the table rises, 3PO fretting (actually talking), the full Mando score.  The hum of the lightsabers and telephone pole guide wire reverb of the baster bolts, makes the game.  You can hear the AT-AT walking and shooting when Veers and Col Strack attack.  CG and LucasArts put all the Star Was sounds into the game, which I have told them when they used to do the big meetings with the public, that is what makes Star Wars, John Williams score and the sounds Ben Burt made throughout his career to make the galaxy come alive.
